Mountain Home Education Foundation Purpose
The Mountain Home Education Foundation (MHEF) has been created to raise funds to enhance student education. The MHEF was designed to support the educational programs for both students and staff of the Mountain Home Arkansas School District. The MHEF will provide funds for educational programs and activities which either have not been funded or have been underfunded by the normal operating budget. These funds will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.

- Providing scholarships for students to pursue post secondary education.
- Encourage all students to work to their highest potential.
- Staff support for innovative efforts.
- Recognize staff, alumni and friends of the school district for exemplary contributions.
- Build community awareness for the MHEF.
- Inspire parents and the community to participate with the school district in enriching education.
Programs and Events
- Project Promise is a scholarship program for Mountain Home High School graduates attending Arkansas State University, Mountain Home which funds the tuition gap after the application of all other grants and scholarships
- Teaching Grant Challenges create partnerships between community businesses, MH Public Schools, and MH classroom teachers to create an innovative classroom project.
- Traditional Scholarships provide funds for Mountain Home Public School graduates to further their education at any post-secondary institution.
- Night of Honors is an event which showcases former MHPS teachers, alumni, and community partners who have excelled in their professional fields or community volunteerism.
- Teaching Grants provide funding to Mountain Home Public School teachers to create innovative teaching and classroom enrichment projects.
