The event is held to recognize and honor outstanding service performed by education professionals in three areas. These areas include former teachers for performance above and beyond their regular tasks, graduates from Mountain Home High School that have excelled in their chosen professions, and former support staff of the Mountain Home Public School System for their dedication and service. The Earnest Perry Award is a special designated title for the support staff award.
An award is also presented to an outstanding member of the business community who has given unselfishly in terms of support and service to Mountain Home Public Schools.
